I do not use heat. Havent in 3 months - BUT I noticed my blow dryer has a warm setting. I put it on my skin to see if the heat was unbearable and too hot cuz I read on NP.com that if you can put it on your skin and it not burn its ok. What do you think? I ask because I am going to be doing some really small twists tonight and I wanted them to be long. Even though I will be breaking my no-heat challenge, I figure its ok if its not damaging. While I am asking, what kind of heat protectant should I use? TIA!

Does your dryer have a cool setting? That would probably stretch your hair out as well. I am sure its not as effective as the hot temp but it will be less damaging.

Yes it does have a cool setting. The warm setting is barely warm so I figured it waould be alright too.
