I had read a comment that a natural head on here uses a light protain treatment because she uses heat ever so often. Do you need to do this? or not?

Thanks..:D

Everyone's hair is different. I don't use heat, but I very occasionally use protein. My hair is actually protein sensitive so I have to be careful how often I use it...and what kind. For instance, my hair seems to tolerate milk proteins the best. I've never used a heavy protein treatment, though.

Alright, thanks for the info! I was wondering because I know that when your blow drying/flat ironing or anything dealing with heat you are bascily going through the same process of relaxing by breaking down the bonds in the hair.

Thats why I was kind of wondering if you may need a ligth protain treament after you've flat ironed your hair and about to wash it again...
