I was wondering did you guys join the new site???? If so was it worth it:rolleyes:
I am a mother of two and wanted to do a test run for 1 month It is bitter sweet though! if i like it then what? i can think of a whole lot of other things i could do with the amount that she is asking for another site that I LOVE has put up a donation button and i have already donated and will continue to do so Because it is on a voluntary basis and when I have more I will give more when I dont I will give less. HI TRACEE:grin: Even this site that i also LOVE is not that exspensive!

I refuse to pay 100 per year for something I can get for 6.50/ year from here. And with the way the economy is going, I think its a little crazy, unfair, dumb, unthoughtful, to expect people to pay that amount of money for HAIR advise. Puh-leez.

I'd rather donate to Traycee's site. :yep: She's such a sweetheart....she's not even asking for an annual fee!!

Well, it was a good site - with alot of the same info that is here

Um...:nono: Hell no. I would NEVER pay 100 Bucks to join a site....That feels like a gouge....

4 WHAT DO YOU GET FOR THE MONEY?
Most of the same info that is here....IMO, many of the tips/ info learned is here, or can be found on the net...I am not down on Macharieamour....But 100 dollars??

Her DVD is great.... and it is 20 bucks.

I won't pay more than 10 bucks for membership to a site. That is but - hey that is me.
 
No, I didn't join. I can't afford that annual fee ... like the previous poster - I can get everything for $6.50 a year right here. But I did purchase her DVD.
 
100 bucks? Unless they're giving away free expensive ish to the members, Ill pass. I can get the same advice here for only $6.50! :yup:
 
I think that a new person said it best when they mentioned that maybe she can give that individual attention that maybe new people don't get here. I can see how someone would really like an answer to a question instead of bumping a thread....

With that being said, I won't pay $100 for it. I feel like it caters more to people with relaxed hair. I think its good if you pay on a monthly basis and see if it works for you. At least she's not asking for the entire $100 up front. With that being said, please send me money for my tummy tuck fund LOL

No, will not join. I don't see what can be said there that hasn't been said between all these other free/less expensive boards.
 
I don't plan on joining. There are some good, free articles on there though. She always has interesting articles.
 
jeeze i hope this doesnt become a bash HT thread. I dont plan on joining but i would like to see reviews from people who actually joined. YES WE KNOW HOW MOST OF THE NON PAYERS FEEL. i think it was said quite well enough in the other threads.

That's probably what this will turn into. There was another thread about it and people were actually angry with her over her new site. Like, "how dare she gain info here for free and turn around and charge people for it?" That thread was eventually locked.

I hope people who are actual members of the site respond.
 
I didn't know there was another thread.
I think she is AWESOME! So - there isnot bash. I just cannot afford 10.00 a month for the site.

Exactly, we all know how the non-payers feel -- for the millionth time. The OP is asking for reviews from PEOPLE WHO JOINED THE SITE, not people who won't join and yada yada yada.
 
I joined the site for the first month. I found it very informative (especially the videos). I'm lazy when it comes to searching for info so I guess the site is good for me. I'll probably rejoin a few months from now.

I don't know yet, I'll see my hair's progress this year and then decide whether I'll join or not...100usd is alot of money!

I joined and paying by the month. It's nice and informative. Reminds me of a Facebook layout. There almost 200 members there. (I think)

Right. As members, we can make comments. It is nothing personal. I would not pay 200 dollars for a hair treatment...But some people have......and if I was selling it, I would expect that other members would say.... "HECK naw"... and I cannot take it personally.

I love some products....if they are a bit too pricey, and some are not that great for me....that is not a bash... it is an opinion.
 
I have a question for the members:

Do you get to see the DVD's for free (i.e. the rollersetting DVD)?? I would think that would be a perk. Or do you get any other perks for that matter? Just asking because the price is a little steep, so I was just wondering if she was offering anything.
