Healthy Hair Butter, best kept cold?

For thos that use this product, do you keep it in the refrigerator as suggested on the jar or do you leave it out at room temperature? Which is better if youve tried both?

I leave mine at room temperature. I like the consistency this way. I've never tried refrigerating it.

I keep mine in the refrigerator. It suggests that you do so on the bottle. I have left mine out before to see and it really does help with the strong smell it gives off if you refrigerate it.

With my first two jars, I got the chunky watery yellow version and I kept it refrigerated. My last two jars have been creamy and I keep them at room temperature. I like creamy and room temperature best. I know I'll use it up in 6 months so that isn't an issue for me.

The HHB that I got in the gift set was creamier than the one I ordered separately, I keep it a room temparture

I keep mine in the refrigerator, and when I plan on using it, I take it out before I wash my hair. By the time I am finished washing, conditioning, and detangling, it is smooth and room temp.

I keep mine at room temperature. The consistency is hard and waxy like hard hair grease

. Therefore, I cannot use it too often, especialy on my wet hair

. Btw, this is the white version of HHB.

Wow that is interesting. When mine is room temp it is smooth and creamy. Maybe you can try sitting it in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes to make it smooth before you use it.

Same here. I found that when I left mine own it smelled bad, and didn't work as well. It might have had something to do with the fact that my apartment gets really hot.

No, I didn't think of warming it up but I will do this along with the Mimosa hair honey. Only my hair milk is at a creamy consistency.
