ok well i air dry at night befor it goes up in a bun i dont use anything on my scalp as i said befor it used to be realy bad when i was young but i havent smelt it in a while it its just a head odor could it be hormones???

I dont know but Ive never heard of hormones causing a scalp odor

if its fungal you could try Tea Tree Oil too or do a with hazel rinse or baking Soda

any of those or all should rectify it

I agree with the other ladies, maybe it's fungus. Also make sure you are thoroughly rinsing your scalp.

That happened to me before I was diagnosed with lupus because I had really bad night sweats, especially in my scalp. It had nothing to do with me going to bed with wet hair (it happened with dry hair too) but with what was coming out of my pores.

You should evaluate your health. It could just be that it's too hot in your room at night so you're sweating or something like that.

Ha, I started a similar thread not too long ago, lol. My hair does the same thing, so I have to wash it once a week. I usually start to smell it 4 days after I wash. It isn't fungus, it's sebum. It's possible that your hair produces a lot more sebum than normal...
