Have you tried this? Dry Shampoo?!?!

I started this thread about dry shampooing not too long ago. Didn't seem like many had tried it, but I dry poo'd when I recently wore my hair straightened and liked the results. I didn't buy one, I just used stuff around the house like regular body powder and oatmeal that I chopped finely.
It was quick and easy to do. I would advise trying it with whatever you have available at home just to get an idea of how it works on your hair. The spray kind does seem interesting, though.

I haven't tried dry poo ... well not on a human. Dog show enthusiasts use dry poos all the time. Popular products to use are corn meal, oat meals, and talc (on white or blonde dogs...probably not a good choice for black hair or hair with oil in it).

I think it might be a good way to remove excess oils temporarily, but it's always important to wash at least once a week.

Thanks Black Cardinal and Chayil! I read that thread that you linked to in your response and I think I'll take your advice and try the homemade stuff before I buy one of those expensive ones. Although the Bumble and Bumble one seems appealing cause its darker than all the other remedies mentioned.
Thanks again ladies!

I was just talking to my friend a few weeks ago about dry shampoo. Its something I'm considering after working out every day.
