Have you ever tried baggying your box-braids with extensions

I baggy my whole head last night and my hair was kinda of wet with moisturizer however, it didn't take long to dry. When I'm in my cornrows
I baggy my ends and it was great. It work great

I baggy my entire head and I have individuals. I don't know if it works yet and won't know for some time to come. I only do it a few nights a week; right now I:

Co Wash - Mon/Wed/Sat
Baggie - Sun/Tue/Thurs

I wear my braids in a bun so I don't know if my hair ever really dries but my problem b4 LHCF was breakage due to lack of moisture so I think I'll be okay.

But if the bottom line question was is baggying braids okay, in my humble and inexperienced opinion, it is. Short of henna and protein, I treat my braided hair the same way the rest of the ladies on the board treat their relaxed or natural hair - pre-poos, DC, baggy, MTG and such.

Like I said, I'm very new and opinions are a dime a dozen

I do this every night...except on the night when im extremely tired and lazy. i have micro s in that i did my self...i spray with my mixture and oil with boundless tresses, put a processing cap over it and tie with a scarf, in the morning after my shower i take off the processing cap and by the time i get to work my hair is mostly dry.HTH

I've baggied my hair with just about every type of braid and twists I've had and it works very well. I have dye in my hair and when I take my braids down my hair is very well moisturized.

i use a concotion of rose water, NTM deep con, scurl and parnevu teatree braid spray....and yes i have curly synthetic braids and no the curls do not straighten..... pics in my fotki....HTH
