The article mentioned that the stores purchase their supply from some third party "tier" supplier. According to Paul Mitchell, his company randomly pull these counterfeits from non-approved distributors for testing and the bacteria is off the charts.
I think the only reason the bottles are so dusty in some of the stores are that the products are so much more expensive. The average person isnt going to spend 14.50 for a shampoo when you can pick one up for 2.99 or less. Plus those commercials dont help, I'm sure we arent the only ones that have wondered about the authenticity.Champagne_Wishes said:Most of the salon hair products I have seen, such as in Walgreens, are old as h#ll.
