This isn't the kind of "henna" you think. I use this alot as a protein treatment. It's good for strengthening, adds no color. They are threads that suggest the placenta part in link to increase cancer risk.

Don't use placenta products, they have been linked to cancer.

I never used it, due to the cancer threat. However my friend uses it and has no problem with it. SO its a personal peference.
