Has Youtube Inspired You??

So lately I've been wanting to learn how to do sew in weaves, but I've never done it before. I got on youtube and started doing searches, only watching the vids of those who, by the looks of their finished product, looked like they knew what they were doing.

Its made me want to purchase one of those wig heads that come with hair, the kind hair students use, and start practicing myself. Anyone learn how to do hair (braids, twists, weaves, etc...) with the help of youtube?

I learned to cornrow, flat twist, and rollerset from you tube! Its a great resource when you can find someone who knows what they are doing!

I also look to youtube for style inspiration.. I'm not that creative on my own.

Actually, before I joined this forum I was reading up on coconut oil pre-shampooing I was looking at reviews on YT and then I came across a video about relaxers, it was like a slide show video. It inspired me to get my act together about my hair care.

If I want to a review on a product or want to try a new approach or technique I almost always refer to YouTube Sometimes when I'm loosing my way with regards to diet and fitness there are certain YTers who inspire me, and of course there's LHCF also.

I looooovvve YouTube and I'm a borderline addict. I am not one of those ladies who is naturally gifted when it comes to doing hair and having a visual such as YT has really helped my skills. I have learned to do Bantu Knots and my favorite three-strand twist and I have a few that I've watched but haven't tried yet. I honestly don't think that I would have been able to transition this long without YT.
