I did this the other day as part of my spa treatment ;) and my scalp feels much cleaner. It's been about a week since I did this and my scalp is not as irritated as it usually is after I wash in the shower. I think I'm going to do this more often!
Just wanted to share :D

(btw I did do my final rinse in the shower after FYI)

I dont have a shower in my flat, only a bath and have found that my hair tangles less if I wash it whilst in the bath, rather than hanging my head over the tub from the outside. I run the water specifically to wash my hair and don't use any showergel/bubblebath in the same water. This works very well for me.

I love my tub. I completely submerge for at least 30 minutes/week. I don't use soap in my bath tho, just clays that can be used on hair and skin. :yep:

nice to see I'm not the only one....

Nope you're not only one. Instead of using the water I'm soaking in, I run fresh water from the faucet in my little bucket to rinse my hair. After the bath, i rinse my hair annd body under the shower.:)

I was doing this when I first moved into my apartment in August, before I had gotten my curtain rod and curtain for my shower. It's relaxing :)

yes i did this the other day i jus soaked it in the water and put some conish after while i shaved ext then when it was time to get out i did a rinse in the shower with cool water, it was like a deep condish condish wash,... my hair felt nice after so i will probably add this to my weekly baths. (I do normally wash i jus take showers hehehe)

When I'm on holiday at my parents, rinsing is always a problem for me. Using a bucket is a great idea!

Girl, I put on my CD of raining falling, fill the tub w/ all hot water, add the clay (about 1/2 cup), and wait until the water is cool enough for a dip. Everybody in the house knows not to coming knocking when the rain CD is on. :lachen:

If my muscles are sore I use the same clay, but add some dead sea salt (or epsome). The salt should be drying but I haven't had a problem. But, just to be on the safe side I always rinse my hair under the shower and condition afterwards.

ETA: They have other clays for hair, but they all say for "oily hair." That does NOT describe my hair. *tumble weed blows by*

I have done this on vacation, but not with bubbles. Pre-poo, co-washed, and rinsed in the water before I took the actual bath.

Thank you for this!! I can probably find some good clays here in Indonesia somewhere out here. I'm wondering if you can use the clays as an alternative to shampoo? Can't wait to try this!! :bouncy:
