vidal sassoon ion molecular steam setter vs330? it's suppose to be like the caruso steam setter, i've heard that it was better. has anyone tried it? it's $20 at target.com. i just ordered mine saturday so when i get it i'll do my first rollerset in a long time. what do you think?

You're gonna love it! I use this and it rivals Caruso for soo much less! Other than the price and color, they are virtually identical. :)

thank you so much for the info.

Note to self: Do NOT visit the LHCF on payday!

I've been eyeing this for a while. I may pick it up. Has anyone seen it in the store, or just online?

Does anyone know how you can purchase extra rollers? I would need to use the jumbo/large rollers to get the desired look. Six large rollers would not be enough for me.

I was looking for extra rollers myself. Caruso sells rollers seperate. I was just going to buy them and see if they fit the Vidal Sasson steam setter.

they said that you can use the carusso rollers with it ( since it's the same thing only cheaper and different company) you can also order them online as well.

I may have to buy this as my 10+ year old caruso steamer went kaput! I plugged it in and a pop sound followed by a poof of smoke came out. I was heated. I loved that thing!

How often can you use these...Are they damaging to your hair because of the heat...What's the instructions: wash, condition, and put rollers in for "X" amount of minutes...Just curious because I may want to purchase these, too....

Thee are used on hair after the hair has dried. They can be used as often as desired. Since it is steam and not heat, the moisture penetrates the hair shaft and is very good for the hair.:)

Wow, I can't wait to purchase this item. My ends were messed up badly from the Caruso foam rollers. I thought the rollers were the culprit, but now that I think of it, I continued to use them long after they began tearing into little pieces. Perhaps I didn't replace them soon enough and THAT was the culprit for the demise of my ends. If any one sees the caruso jumbo rollers selling at a decent price, please let me know.

Also, please heed the warning I saw on one of the websites selling this item.

Warnings:

The power cord on this product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Wash hands after handling.

Take care everyone.
