Has anyone used the Redken Smooth Down line....

Thumbs up on both for me. I wasn't thrilled with the smell of the Butter Down, but it works!
I mix a drop or 2 of each of the Heat Glide, NTM serum and NTM creamy leave-in before I blowdry/flat iron. I like it alot!

I was given the whole line as gift after I bought the Butter Treat which my hair loved Thanks to Tracy and Boadicea.
I think the Butter Treat and heat glide are best products from the line my hair turned out great after flat ironing.
The shampoo was just ok and I have not used the conditioner yet.

Ive used the butter cream (thanks to britt

) It defines the curls in my hair like no bodies business. It just doesnt smell like the title

(meaning that it doesnt smell like a butter treat)

I purchased the small butter treat sample, the smooth down shampoo and conditioner. I washed my hair last night with the shampoo and used the butter treat as a deep conditioner. I left the butter treat for 15 mins w/o heat. I used Elucence MB as a leave in and roller set my hair with Elasta QP design foam. Ladies, that butter treat is da bomb! I love this treat. My hair feels incredible. I let my hair airdry overnight in the rollers, no heat. I love the feel and look this conditioner produces. I am 7 weeks post-relaxer and my new growth is "smoothed down". I have found a very nice new conditioner to tame my new growth. I haven't used Redken products in years, but this will not be leaving my staple of products. I will have to try the regular conditioner this weekend to see what results I get.

The regular smooth down conditioner is very nice as well, ladies. I used it for a condition wash yesterday after my workout and it detangles like nobody's business. It detangles better than L'oreal Unfrizz and runs a close second to my cherished Elucence MB. The smell is not the best, as I don't care for the perfumey smell, but otherwise both conditioners are keepers for me. Once again, my rollerset was full, bouncy and shiny using this line and my new growth is undetectable. My hair is soft and has a smooth glide feeling. Most importantly, my bf really seems to like the way my hair looks using this line. He is my final reviewer.

Labett, the butter treat is butter, lol, I mean better, but since I do con-washes regularly, I didn't want to use the butter so often due to the heaviness. Also, if you don't mind my asking, where are you located in S.C.? I am in S.C. as well.

I used the whole line this weekend. Ive had it under my sink for months but havent used it due to a lack luster first try. Ive been using the heat glide pretty consistently but not the shampoo and Butter Treat conditioner. WELLL....

My hair is so silky it is ridiculous!

I shampooed twice with the Smooth down shampoo. My hair felt incredibly moisturized. YES there are cones in this, but my hair LOVES cones!!!

I deep conditioned with heat with the butter treat and plastic cap for about 20 minutes. When I rinsed my hair out in the shower my hair had so much slip and moisture, I was moaning in the shower!!!!!

I proceed to put in the EGO BOOST leave in, and the HEAT GLIDE serum. I spray my spray bottle contents (water,olive oil and keracare setting lotion) on each section of hair as a rollerset. I took my hair down when it was dry and it is so silky I cant keep my hands out it 3 DAYS LATER!!!

Im going to be using this every wash! Its great!
