has anyone used Ojon products?

I haven't used them yet. I have the shampoo and conditioner and will try it in a couple of weeks. My mom has been using the restorative treatment for the last few months as a leave-in with great results. She had problems with breakage and believes that this product has helped. Her hair is fuller with a lot more body. But, the restorative treatment does have a odor which disappears after awhile. HTH

Did you guys get it from QVC?

My mom got the restorative treatment from QVC. She is retired and QVC is her hobby. I got the shampoo and conditioner from a salon called Pure Beauty. This chain has been popping up all over the place lately. They had a sale, buy one get one half off. So, I couldn't resist.

I forgot to add this...My mom said the The Today's Special Value on 2/14/05 on QVC will be an Ojon set with all of the products. I don't recall the price. So, you may want to hold off for a couple of weeks.

The set is supposed to have some of the new products: the serum and styling creme.

You can also call Ojon and get a free sample. THat's what I did to try the product w/out the cost investment.

Bump...This is what I meant

I've been trying my Ojon samples the last 3 days and I really wanted to like this stuff but unfortunately I don't (glad I didn't spend $40-50 bucks on it.) At first, it smelled like coffee out of the packet but then in my hair it smelled like incense. Once I got over the smell I found it made my hair soft but then later my hair was kinda dry, frizzy, and didn't style right. I tried it on wet hair and dry hair and I'm just not feeling it. I thinking homemade shea butter cream is much cheaper and more moisturizing.

CCD,

The Today's Special Value will appear at midnight on 2/14/05. It also debuts every hour. The Ojon Hour will be from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM EST. The last time Ojon was on the entire line sold out within 30 minutes before everything was demonstrated. Monday is an entire Day of Beauty. Check the program guide at www.iqvc.com. HTH.

Mija,

Thanks for your review.

Thanks MissB! I think I'm going to look for Palm Nut oil and spike my conditioners or treatments

I've used them, and like a moron, I bought full-sized everything - the deep conditioning pressed oil, the instant conditioner and the shampoo.

The pressed oil is tricky: You scoop it out into your hand, rub your hands together until it melts, and then you leave it on (the longer the better). I used to put it on and go rollerblading and then wash it out. I really hated the smell - I can't really accurately describe it, but it was as if someone dumped cheap perfume in a Starbucks Mochachino or something, and the oil did nothing for my hair.

The shampoo and conditioner were OK, but not for $15 a pop. The conditioner, actually, made my hair a little hard. The shampoo was no better or worse than cheaper ones I tried.

But then, that's just me. At the Dominican spot I go to now, there's a lady there who brings Ojon products and refuses to let the stylist put anything else on her hair, and her hair is BANGING. So if you can get samples, try it. I personally didn't care for it.

Thanks MissB!

OnlyErin, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't care for it. The PJ in me wanted to pullout the charge card but I restrained myself. I'm still gonna watch the QVC special for it but I won't buy anything.

I think it's $42.50 at QVC.

Thanks for the review Only Erin. Maybe I should put my shampoo and conditioner on the hair exchange board. One day, I will be brave enough to try it.

thanks for the review....

yeah, I saw these at Ricky's in NYC and I just picked up the brochure to read what was in it...then the sales girl told me she used and liked it....

I said it was pricey and she said she used the tester at the store....then I asked her what made it so special, she said she didn't have shedding in the shower ( I don't comb my hair out in the shower anymore these days but....anyway) and she thought her hair felt softer..

I guess it works for some ......

Thanks again for the reviews!
