i too wanna know. my friend has alopecia. i'm afraid to tell her about this cause she's always made fun of my hair journey. she doesn't take any of my hair and product advice.

I suppose I can answer this question!

Yes it does!

My husbands barber is only 32 and is going bald on top and is very self consious about it. I gave him some BT to use. After a few weeks he told my husband that it was filling in! It wasnt a massive amount and in record time b/c it doesnt work that way but he told me he could see the hairs growing in. I know there is a member here who told me that she had a bald spot in her hair and she used BT on the spot while she wore a weave and when she took the weave out she saw the spot it had filled in! I cant think of her screen name but I know her real name. I wont put it out there but I think its sexylong legz. I hope she doesnt mind me sharing her story! HTH!

Naturallady's comments were about me!

I used BT after I had a bad ringworm on my scalp. After it was treated, I was left with a shiny bald spot. I tried so many things for months but nothing helped. I ordered some BT and used it on the spot as I sported a sew-in weave. When I took out the weave in 5 weeks, the spot had filled it! I was in tears and so grateful that I had hair in that shiny spot. I still continue to use BT and the spot is thriving. It is shorter than the rest of my hair but it has grown back! Thanks Naturallady!

I've been using it on my edges for about 4 months. I'm not sure they are filling in or not. If they are it's very slight. My problem is I don't have a picture album yet to track my progress. I believe that I have chemical alopecia from my permie years.

Hey,

Where are the ingredients for boundless tresses cos i saw an FAQ questions, and it said that anecdote. but if i purchase iwanna know what i'm puttin on my lil scalp :)

My ex is going thin on top and has been for a few years now. Do you think BT would work on him too? Dear god I'm thinking how in the hell do I offer him the BT without him getting a complex about it. He's probably gonna think the thinning hair bothered me, it didn't.

I HAVE ALOPECIA AND I HAD CORTISONE SHOTS AND CREAMS THAT DID NOT WORK BUT AFTER USING THE BT FOR A MONTH MY BALD SPOT IS FILLING IN NICELY. AT THIS RATE IT SHOULD BE COMPLETELY COVERED IN ANOTHER MONTH. I SOMETIMES WEAR MY HAIR UP OR A WIG TO COVER IT AND I WILL BE SO GLAD WHEN I CAN THROW THOSE WIGS AWAY BECAUSE I HATE THEM. SOON AS I FIGURE OUT HOW TO RESIZE MY PICS I WILL POST THEM.

I have been using BT for 2 weeks in conjunction with Dudley's Advanced Hair Care Serum which is a DHT blocker recommended to me by my stylist. I have gone from shiny bald to a very thin fuzz of about 1/8 of an inch in length.

is there a thread showing some before and after pics of this stuff? I'd like to see the hair progress photos if anyone has any please.

All I can say is simply IT WORKS! I've been using it just to get faster growth. My husband uses this for his bald spots he recently got due to stress from teaching, and man he's growing a full head of hair. When I touch his hair it's so much thicker I'm so just loving this product:D

ok , so how does it work? cause you know the whole hair process starts from the inside out. and i think sulphur has bacteria killing properties right? or is it softening the skin right by your hair root up or something to help the hair come through? i just wanted to understand better. i was seriously contemplating on getting some , but i dont usually just up and buy things without seeing how they work.

My best friend has Alopecia Universalis.... (not a bald spot here or there, shes completely bald from head to toe). I have been wondering if BT would actually work for her. I was going to order her some to see if a difference is made after a couple months. Shes tried about everything (shots, topical treatments, pills, etc) but nothing works. BT would prolly be a shot in the dark but after trying so many other things, whats one more? :)

Hey I have a Q about how you all r applying BT. I just apply to my scalp I just started today. DO you apply to the hair too like the ends? Do you recommend it or is applying to the scalp going to in turn allow the ends to grow too?//?? im lost. give me any ideas n tips ab. u and BT thnx!!

oundless Tresses definitally works for alopecia. I have Lupus Alopecia and I had several bald spots plus the left side of my hair fell out completely. All areas were shiny, smooth, bald. I have tried everything and BT is the only thing that has grown the hair back.

I don't know if it's technically alopecia or not, but I had thinning edges due to micro braids about two years ago, and BT is the only thing I've tried that has helped them to start filling in.

I don't use BT (yet) but as with most growth aids you are to only apply to your scalp. Putting it on your ends may dry your hair out because of the sulfur as sulfur can be drying. NL recommends that you only need a small amount applied to your scalp. You can check her FAQ section on her website as she addresses this issue. She also has a thread addressing this question as well. HTH!

Wow ... thanks for posting pics, Insatiable. Very inspiring. I have always had thin edges all my life, but lately, they've gotten so much worse (see photo below). I also hate the fact you can now see my scalp through my hair. I think my hair is thinning in general. I was beginning to give up hope. Perhaps I should try this boundless tresses.

I have alopecia areata and I can definitely say that this stuff works!!! I have a spot in the back on the left side of my head and recently I lost most of my hair back there. I wore weaves and braids for 8 months and relaxed it in May. I was really scared that my condition would flair up again because the stylist really underprocessed my hair. I ordered the BT, started using it especially when my alopecia returned, lo and behold, it stopped it in it's tracks.:D For those of you who don't know, alopecia can sometimes cause a burning, stinging sensation in the area prior to the hair falling out and this is very irritating as well as painful. The BT stops it cold. Thank you NL for making this, I will be ordering more soon. I have spent a small fortune on different treatments and products for this condition. This is the first time I have hope for truly growing my hair out to shoulder length, hey maybe even BSL.:) I hope this helps those people who are sitting on the fence. The girl who does my braids could not believe how thick my edges where.

I think you should definitely give BT a try. It certainly won't hurt. I tried so many things in the past that didn't help in the least, and then BT started to work for me in less than two months. I hope it works for you like it seems to be working for me!

Wow, that's amazing! I'm glad for you. BT is definitely working for you. Your pics and TaraDyan's testimony have sent me over the edge.

Insatiable, where you using it daily or every other day? The progress of your edges is undeniable!;) Have you noticed faster growth overall or just the edges?
