Has anyone tried to put in their own weave? If so what hair do you like to use, and what technique do you like to use

i did all the time... i did straight backs and sewed the tracks straight across... it is flatter than doing the circle cornrows... it turned out great on my sister too and she had a relaxer...

i am currently practicing the wig net weft method lol it is supposed to place less stress on your own hair and I bet it works well
same with the stocking cap method you could also try that
