Hey Can'tBeCopied, do you think you would of had good results if you had used these products and the heat less often... maybe once a week or every 2 weeks???CantBeCopied said:Thermasilk is what brought me to LHCF in the first place.Well, not exactly. But, The thermasilk poo and co's (coupled w/heat styling) made my hair so pretty, silky, shiny and flowing that I became addicted to the look and started washing and blowdrying & hot curling my relaxed, color-treated hair every 2-3 days with Thermasilk just to maintain the look of freshly washed, silky shiny hair. But, because of the increased blowdrying and hot curling....my hair got weak and started breaking off.
Pretty soon...folks were asking me why I had gotten my hair cut (which I didn't.)I had to throw the Thermasilk out and swear off the heat styling. And here I am today.....bunning it and walking around with a perpetually wet or damp head, trying to gain back what I lost and surpass that length. I'm saying all that to say....Thermasilk makes your hair look beautiful but it doesn't necessarily protect relaxed/color treated or otherwise damaged hair from heat styling. BEWARE.
