I was at home yesterday watching daytime TV, and they were doing makeovers on the "Maury" show. There were several ladies on there that had some "serious" hair problems. Anyways, the hair stylist were using a infra red curling iron that was hot to the touch, but cool to the hair and straightened it wonderfully. He also said it locked in moisture inside the hair shaft. The ladies that he was using this on had frizzy, nappy hair and it looked like it worked really well on the hair. Has anyone tried this??
The web site address is: www.ceramiciron.com

I wonder if it works as well as the Jilbere? If so, I'll have to pick one up for my Christmas present to myself.

I hear ya' Sassygirl! I was perfectly happy with my old krusty curling iron until I saw that one and had to have it!!!

Don'tspeak,\

Which name brand do you have and where did you get it? I am in Southern California! It sounds wonderful! What kind of differences did you see in your hair and how often do you use it?

Well Stylepink, I have a Unil ceramic flat iron. I purchased it for around $130 somewhere on the internet. I don't remember. I did find a lot of these on Ebay brand new for about $80.

I love my iron. I has helped me out in this time of transitioning. I used it to do a weekly press and people would ask me are you back to relaxing. Nope just using something a little different. I used it once weekly. I am currently in braids for the summer.

Thanks so much, dontspeak. I have such dry ends. I have a relaxer I hope it works good with that. So expensive, but i'll buy anything that makes my hair look good...Thanks for your quick reply

Your welcome. Yes girl you hair will swing and it will be so soft. Just make sure you apply some sort of protection before using. I usually just use a little oil especially on the ends.
Try this thread to help with the dry ends.
