Ok I went to the beauty supply store today to get some supplies to do a roller set and they put some samples for a deep conditioner by HydroVeil. It is a leave in deep conditioning treatment with shea butter.

I am going to try it out this week and let you know if I like it when we have the Nov. Hit or Miss

I got the sample too but I am in braids so I can't try it. I didn't like the ingredients but we will see. I'll be wachin this thread...
 
OMG I saw this stuff in the BS store last week and I was wondering if anyone had tried it. The girl's hair on the box was beautiful.

I have never seen it before and i was so wondering what this lady was putting in my bag, and yes the girls hair on the brochure that came with my sample hair is beautiful.
 
I finally got around to trying it
1. it is very creamy
2. has a very cool tingling feeling
3. allowed for easy slip


I will let you know further after my hair has dried.


So far I like it and will use my other samples
 
I did not notice any residue, and it does seem to be shinier. I noticed my hair did not break off as much when I was combing it out. I will keep it in rotation.
 
My friend got a sample of the leave in from a local BSS and she loved, loved, loved it. Any updates on this line? I was thinking about picking up a jar of the leave in.... what's the price range for the women that bought it already?
 
I see this is kind of an old thread, but what type of beauty supply did you all find this line in? Asian, Sally's, or Salon?
 
When I saw this thread title I gasped...*had a flashback*

I know I vented to Dee & Paperdoll about my last trip to the Dominican Salon around the way...

I had put Fermodyl 619 and Lacio Lacio on my hair as a leave in combo....and for some reason...I decided I wanted to be different and at the last minute put some of the sample on my hair

Well, by the time I got in the chair for chick to roll me up...I'm thinking that my usual leave in combo was NOT happy with me adding this product..it made my hair hard and that *(&(*)&()&(*) chick was ripping the &(&*(^ comb through my hair..

*puts hand to head, having a bad flashback*:nono:

I'm willing to try it again...solo...because the ingredients seem really good..maybe on dry hair on the ends...not wet...

but adding again...I think I was a bad example of usage....

I got the samples at a bss in the Bronx.... the word free was too much of an enticement not to take a couple..or three...:look:

I got a free sample of the leave-in from the asian BSS here....It smelled like toothpaste, had the consistency of toothpaste, and worked like i imagine toothpaste would as a leave-in for my hair....:ohwell:. HATED IT!!!
