I put it in my hair dry sometimes, but not as a DC. I use it for moisture. I like it better than the pudding.

Ditto for me! The first time I used it, I thought it was OK. But the second and third time I used it, my hair was as dry as the sahara. I finally had to give it up.

But I got off easy: it made my sister's hair dred up.

No bueno.

I've used it on wet hair for an overnight DC and I don't get those results. It could be the dry hair aspect that it's not jiving with?

Also what, if anything, was on your dry hair prior to applying the DC?

I almost always overnight DC or sit under the dryer for as long as I can stand with any DC in. I haven't tried steaming though. . .

Maybe it was it and yes my hair was dry when I used it. Maybe I'll give a try on freshly shampooed hair. HHG

I am like one of the ONLY people that likes it as a DC....but I use it on freshly washed and detangled hair...it was great when I was transitioning, used the whole jar, havent used it since - bought 6 more jars but I have given away 2!
