My Joico K-pak didnt leave me as pleased as it normally does. This is the second time this month. I Don't like Keraphix and I only use aphogee when my hair is really bad, which its not.

Any other staples just "quit" on you?

Yes fantaisia Ic gel quit on me and no matter how much I clarify and try to use it again its just not like it used to be.

Have you tried clarifying first?

I used some Porosity Control conditioner last night (after rinsing out my DC), and I swear my hair tangled WORSE than it was before. This stuff used to melt away my tangles like a dream, but now my hair doesn't seem to like it. I think it may be too acidic for my hair or something. I'll stick with regular ol' ACV rinses for controlling my porosity.

What did your hair feel like afterwards? Perhaps your hair doesn't need that sort of a protein treat right now...

You know, I did K-Pak this past weekend and it did not help me as much as I was used to. :look:

I did not use heat on my hair during the conditioner, but still - I saw no benefit from using K-pak and I am going to have to do another protein treatment with something else.

Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream, this was My only staple that I ever needed and then it just stopped working for me like it used to when I first bought it, It use to make my dry hair so soft and moistful all day long, also I feel that my Suave Conditioners aren't working like they use to, My hair don't feel soft anymore, Maybe my hair is outgrowing Suave LOL!!!!

No I clarify monthly. But I lighly scraped my scalp with my fingernail to see if I had a lot of build up and I didn't. I've been going very light with my products.

Usually I have very little shedding and my strands feels stronger. The past two times my hair has come out feeling more on the too much moisture side, where before the K-pak would balance me out. It just felt a little too soft for my liking.

Ugh...this happened with Suave Naturals in Tropical Coconut...this stuff used to be my ish! Now, it's just okay. :( I swear, if CON Detangling ever decides to quit on me I have no idea what I would do.

But I must admit, I have not been using PC or doing ACV rinses so I might need to try them.

Another staple that I stopped using was Mane N Tail conditioner. It started to make my hair trip out. I realized that there are 2 different formulas, one that only Sally Beauty sells that my hair likes, but I don't like being tied to Sally's for a product. There are other choices.

Yeah Kenra Shampoo and Conditioner conked out on me too. I even switched up with Keracare for a little while to see if my hair had just become too used to the Kenra products. After two months I tried to switch back and.... *Nothing* It was just OK, nothing to write home about.

Hmm, that's interesting...I still think that your hair is in better condition than what the products could provide at the time...but still interesting, nonetheless.

Yrs. ago Motions did this and Biosilk Silk Therape, but I think these type of products are in disguise by there smell and how they make the hair feel for the moment. I say for the moment because there are products that take time to work, some may not work too good in the beginning but over time they get better and better. Then you have the ones that work instantly and then after a while there true colors are shown and they end up being crap  .
