I'm just curious. I would rather get the REAL DEAL, but I know how most generics have the same ingredients and I need a budget for my hair care! This site will turn you into a product junkie for real!

I have used them in the past few days. I can't tell the difference in the products, but they are packaged differently so I know there's a slight difference, but what it is, I'm not sure

I had used the generic Infusium 23 a while back! I couldn't tell a difference in the smell or the results. The price was awesome too. HTH:wave:

I'm currently using the generic Nexxus Humectress one and it works pretty well. I've never tried the orignal humectress so I couldn't tell you the difference. At the time I wanted humectress, I couldn't find it anywhere so I just got the generic brand, and it was at a good price too. Funny thing was the next week, I go into Albertson's and there it was....in fact, the whole line of Nexxus products! I just didn't think they would have it at a grocery store.

I know that happened to me too!!!! It seems like now everywhere I go I run into the doggone REAL product the smaller version at like 8.99!!!

and yes about the generic infusium 23- I know what you are sayin because when I opened the bottle of the fake nexxus it smelled exactly the same an I read the ingredients on the back and it was essentially the same except you know Aqua as oppsed to water- Big deal!!
I was just curious though.

I use Suave's knockoffs and I love them. I get so much more for the money it's insane. And on a college budet, I simply can't justify that little Nexxus for that much money.

i use the generic aloe rid

it looks, works and smells just like the nexxus version

So do I! I also have the generic humectress conditioner too, it also works very well.

Ditto ! Sally's Generic Value Products Nexxus Humectress was a Staple for me last year.

I have, BUT you need to actually check the real ingredients with the ones on the back of the generic ones. I know they give them to you on the generic bottles but they are not always correct.

I use the generic Paul Mitchell "Cream". It is a creamy leave-in and I love the way it feels. Gives me "slip" when combing after co-washing. I prefer creamy leave-ins over liquid ones.

I use the The suave Humectant Poo and CO knockoff too!! When I'm not Pantening. Although it is fabulous, deep down in my hair spirit I know there's better. When I graduate on to the others, I'll keep my suave knock off CO as a prepoo and concoc with some other stuff.

I've tried the sallys hummectress and also the suave hummectress and they did absolutely nothing for my hair. I love Nexxus hummectress. I refuse to pay retail so i usually buy the litres off of ebay, which can be cheap...

I wish my hair liked cheapies, but they don't i can clearly tell the difference in the moisture level of my hair, like the 2nd day after a wash. and my hair is soooo much easier to detangle with salon products. I do like the softening effect of VO5 though....

I use the generic Paul Mitchells The Detangler. It works, and the ingredients are the same. And it's only $4.99.

I use the Sally generic Nexxus Humectress, Nexxus Therappe, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo, and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. I love them all.

I just purchased the knock off version of paul mitchell's "the conditioner".I hope it works.:)
I heard great things about it and my hair gets so tangled!

I just purchased the knock off Humectress, and I'm sitting here with it in my hair now for my post-henna DT.

I requested a free sample of Humectress from Nexxus, so once it gets here (dang 6-8 week wait time!!) I'll compare the two.... maybe put on one half my head and one on the other and see what I think.

I hope the Sally's stuff lives up to the hype though, because sheeeshh!! 18 bucks for 20 oz of conditioner? Umm, no?

Okay... I'm glad I'm not the only one. The generics don't work for me, as much as I'd like them to. :perplexed
