My hair grows faster on the top than the sides/back. I've come to the conclusion it's because I sleep on my sides/back and always wake up with this Elvis lookin hairstyle lol.

This is my solution.. Two flat twists, one on each side and two going horizontal in the back. hopefully it works.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yep! Unless I am laying down purposely to sleep(in which I sleep on my side), I always end up on my back. And I cant seem to keep my scarf on either...

My hair does grow in that same pattern. I don't necessarily think it is because of my sleeping habits. If that was the case then my left side would grow longer than my right. I think it is just the natural growing pattern of my hair. It was the same when I was relaxed and wrapped my hair all the time. :ohwell:

But I think putting your hair up while you sleep can definitely help with retention. It's worth a shot :yep:
