If you color at home using a perm color product and you love your results and also maintain healthy hair please share which product you use and the method you use for coloring /how often?

No. Even when I used a semi, my hair became so dry. But before that when I used a regular dye, I had to eventually get a halle cut

hope this helps :D

My friend just tried to highlight her hair at home and it came out...not so good. :(

Trying to save money, she messed it up and now has to pay to have it fixed.

I learned my lesson years ago about that kind of stuff. Go to a professional!

My friend highlights my hair since our hairdresser hasn't been able to do our hair for a while . I haven't had any problems, but she's knows how to do hair, she also does my relaxers.

I color at home with Feria, high-lifts for browns. I havent had any breakage or dryness. The conditioner that comes with the haircolor is EX-CE-LLENT! Oh, and I try to color about every month or so. But I have heard that Feria can be really damaging too. I think the key is to thoroughly condition your hair after the coloring.

i color at home and i great results all the time (better than when i went to the salon for color)... i use dark n' lovely (hate it for everything else but this color always works well for me and treats my hair well) in Midnight Blue and i normally do it about 4 times a year...

my cusion and i tried to dye own hair using colour feria(l'oreal)! she came banging on my dorn (wer at uni) very upset as the dye made her hair stiff!

 the shampoo in the pack had formed a terrible wax! the only other shampoo we had was dax and you know what, it worked great!!! :p her hair was again bouncey and mega soft. when i finished rinsing my hair it to felt soft however, when i went to the mirror the roots looked as if they were glued together! sooo, i used the dax and my hair was soft agen(Thank God!) there was not colour difference...

:p About 2 weeks ago i used intense red by Smart Colour... my hair turned out great! its stll nice 'n soft and the colour is very fresh'n intense- i love it! :)

I've used the conditioner too that came with the Feria color and it is really good. I remeber when I dyed my hair black and I used the conditioner, my hair came out really silky without having to use a flat iron.
