I saw this on goldenmartbeautysupply but they haven't had it in stock for months so I'm giving up on them.. has anyone found something similar to this?

That is such a pretty bun. I have a similar bun that I made that looks like that....

It's the pic on the left w/ me in the red shirt. I used some braiding hair (think .99 pack). I put an elastic in the middle to hold it together, and braided each side down to the ends and secured with elastics. Next I boiled some water, and put the pot to the side. Put the braid in a gallon zip lock bag, and close it up. Put the bag in the pot on top of the water it does not have to be immersed. Cover the pot with a lid, and let it sit(steam) for 5 minutes. Take the braid out of the bag and let it cool down, a few hours should be good. After it is cooled, unbraid each side and you will have the nicest kinky like texture. I pull my hair back in a bun and wrap the hair around my bun secure with a few bobby pins and I am good to go.

It sounds like a long process, but it really is not. You are basically just steaming some texture into straight hair. Hth.
