My hair has been DRY lately and seriously shedding. It's not creating bald spots or anything, but my scalp is sore. I thought it could have something to do with hardwater, since even though I wear something on my head in the shower, it still gets wet. My skin is also very very dry, and the only thing that works for my skin is oil (which causes me to breakout). Any very cheap filter systems? My mom really could care less about harwater. As long as you don't drink it, she says, it will be fine. She thinks I'm overeacting.
 
Culligan makes one for the shower(it cost about $20)...there are other brands also. Use the search function above to locate the post about this. Also I always use distilled water when I do my final rinse and when I'm just rinsing and not shampooing...
