From what I understand the darker the color the more ppd there is. I had to have shots and take steroids. I was swollen from my eyes to the nape of my neck with itchy sores. I would caution anyone to do a skin test everytime a dark color is used as allergic reactions can sometimes just happen when you haven't hada problem before.

What is PPD?

It's Para-Phenylendiamine, a substance in some hair color that exposure can cause severe swelling and itching can even lead to anaphylactic shock.

Wow that is a very nice black, I personally am a huge fan of jet blackish hair. Do you notice any slight blue hues?
