1. Having my mommy comment on how beautiful my hair is, and wanting to help her with hers, and then KNOWING that I can make a difference for her.

2. Feeling like all my work is finally paying off because I know it's all making a difference, no matter what haters and nay-sayers think, say, or do.

3. Having a stylist who I know won't sabotage my goals even though she initially asked me why I wanted so much hair, I mean, DUH!. Now, I have convinced her to grow hers back out, so when can both swing it when we hang out together. I can't help it, y'all, I just love bouncin' hair.

What's happiness to you?

Well...lol....I have more than 3:

1. Having access to my scalp

2. Knowing that my hair will grow regardless

3. When my hair isn't greasy even after applying some to my hair the previous night.

4. Great hair ends that look great in any style

1. being able to run my fingers through my coils and feel the strength of it, and being able to allow others to do the same while they comment on how good my hair looks.

How do you avoid greasy hair after you put grease in your hair. I don't get it. I don't put any oil/grease in my hair unless I am wearing it curly. Although I like the shine it gives i feel that my hair gets really flat (when straight) how do you avoid that.

1. Happiness is a good hairday.
2. Happines is when my mom tells me my hair looks short because it's generally the opposite.
3. Happiness is jealous people.

I think it all depends on the grease. Some greases aren't messy at all. Generally, the thinner the grease (something like B&B Super Gro), the less greasy it is. But I also used a thick grease (African Pride Castor Oil and Mink) that wasn't very greasy at all, either. That's what I'm going back to once I'm done with the Super Gro. Also, there are varying levels of greasiness, so it depends on the person. What's not greasy to my mother is extra greasy to me.

Happiness is...
1. Watching length accumulate because you found the key to what helps you keep those ends in great condition.

2. Having people who catch me with my bun out, pick their mouths up off the floor

because they think my hair is growing too fast to be for real, ha ha.

3. Seeing my ends in great condition virtually for the first time in my entire life.

Oh and one more

4.Sharing with all you wonderful ladies here. Knowing that there is a place to come to and interact with people like yourself that share similar goals

Happines is...
1. Knowing that my hair will pass that length that it has "stayed" at for years (around shoulder length).
2. Having the know-how to attain my goals.
3. Truly appreciating my hair which I always in the past called "nappy-nappy".

Miss Silk, Karonica is right, it depends on the grease.

I've been using those ultrasheen greases (blue one and green one). I even put some on my scalp.

Basically, I've been going back to those old-school ways.

Happiness is:

Hair that flourishes in leaps and bounds.
Correctly caring for my hair.
Enjoying my crown and glory to the fullest.

1) realizing a twa can have MANY different looks, too..

2) the feeling of liberation after a big chop
3) knowing my hair will be healthy once I start growing it out.
