Great minds do think alike! This is the method i use to wrap my hair also! Same as kitchen-titian with the criss cross in the back. except i don't use pins to secure it...cause i don't like the waves they create.
I just tried it one day after experimenting with different nite styles, and plus i was too lazy to fully wrap and the next morning my hair was still smoothe and it didn't have not one wave, bump or anything in it. it was 100% straight...even after wearing this for the whole week.
