I now have sterling silver earrings on my list. How are the hoops from Macy's, for example, be different than hoops from say, Target if they are both sterling silver?

IMO there's a much bigger variety of sterling silver earrings available at Macy's. Studs, hoops, chandeliers galore. They're definitely worth checking out if you're close to one. HTH.

I definitely plan to expand my collection of sterling silver earrings this holiday season. They are slowly but surely becoming a favorite of mine.
