I really like this hairstyle and would like to try it. But I really can't tell how I should go about it. Do u guys have any idea how this style was achieved. I have some ideas but don't know if it will look like this. Thanks!

I can't see the style when I click on the link but is it the picture of Garcelle Beauvais that is currently in my signature? If it is, I was just telling someone else on here that I'd like to recreate this style is well but I wasn't sure if I could achieve it with my hair with a rod set or by using a curling iron. My ends still get curly when wet even though my hair is relaxed so I don't think I could do a roller/rod set until all the curly ends are gone. I'm going to try a curling iron.

Yes, that's the picture, the style is to cute. I'm the same way I didn't know whether to use spiral rods, twist out, or to do knots. I just washed my hair and did the knots, so we'll see how they work out.In my opinion they look real deep waves.

Let me know how you get the look. I used to wear my hair in a similar style and my hair dresser used a triple barrel curling iron, now I have a wig with those kind of waves and I would love to know how ,if possible, to achieve the style without a triple barrel curling iron.

Update on my trying to emulate this hairstyle. Well the bantu knots sure as heck didn't work

, it looked more like and afro. So, rinsed and did a twist out. This gave kind ok like the deep waves the picture. It's close enough next time if I try I gonna loosely on flexi-rods.

when my hair is out, i wear my hair like that all the time. i just twist my hair with setting lotion while its wet. altho, i usually curl the end of my twists with rod curlers

How do you all do your twist outs? Flat or plaits all over your head?

I do mine flat on my scalp like conrows

Ditto...just like cornrows but with two strands. I also did them in individual plaits and I must say I like result I get from the first method better.
