Hi - I don't know if this is the correct place to post this. I just wanted to inform folks of my experience when purchasing a hair steamer from Beauty Beauty USA. I got the reference from the site from another thread - but - I think that the ownership has SIGNIFCANTLY changed! Basically, the original sales agents (recommended in the thread) are no longer there. Communication was hard for me as ALL of the people I encountered had VERY strong accents.

The steamer I purchased was no real steamer - more like a sauna!

It was this one When I told them I wanted my money back, they said that I had to send it in (and pay for it). Mind you, I was charged fees for the shipping out. I also had to pay fees to ship it back.

Also, this unit had an element in it that I burned my finger on! At first, I was going to let my mom use it for her hair but after that, I just packed it up and shipped it back. They seemed to be merchants who had a little difficulty in letting the money go - but - they eventually agreed to take it back. Now - if they can just credit my account like they are supposed to!

So, this is the experience I have had with Beauty Beauty USA. Perhaps someone out there has had a good experience - I guess I was not one of them

Mufasa, I have no knowledge of the company. But if they refuse to refund your money after you having sent them back their merchandise. Call VISA/MC/AMEX and describe the situation and demand a "merchant chargeback." Works everytime.
