OK, I ordered some combs because of all of the great reviews, but I was surprised to see notches and grooves on the combs (in between the teeth). They seemed hand filed and the spaces in between the teeth were a different color from being filed down, and not exactly smooth. I have the #206 and #222.

Anybody else have this issue? Is it "normal"? Please help me ladies.

Yes these are hand made and I had the same issue and I called her and asked her about it when I received mine, she said they were normal and it wouldn't be any issues taking out hair or anything.
