Hi ladies,

I was thinking about going natural but...

I need help!! What are you ladies doing to get your hairline to lay down. I usually sleep in rollers so putting something on it at night and tying it down won't work. Normally I would put heat on mine :naughty: (it would only be for a few days before my next touch-up ) but if I want to go natural I can't do that every day. And there has to be another way (even if I don't go natural).

As you can see I need help.

Any suggestions?

Scarf method as mentioned above - Use a scarf to lay down your edges when airdrying your hair and also when you're going to bed at night.

Headbands and scarves (see siggy) also help :-)

That's the problem I roll my hair at night so I can't or don't know how to lay my edges down and put a scarf on when there are rollers in the way.

Do the scarf method while you are getting ready for work or school. I use Oyins Burnt Sugar Pomade because it is thick. I put it on in the morning, use my scarf over it while doing my business in the morning. Works well.

Yes, that is what I do. Usually, I wet my hands and smooth the water over my edges followed by whatever product I'm going to use (a leave in and aloe vera juice mostly), and then tie my scarf around the edges while I'm getting ready for the day. It only takes a few minutes. Don't expect relaxer smooth edges, but they will lay down and look neat.
