Hairdini: do these work ? trying to make a easier bun for the challenge

Ok I know some of you remember the infomercials for haidini's. I am wondering if anyone uses it ? and was it a hit or a miss ? After accepting the bun challenge and reading the post about the scuncii magic bun Ihave been searching the net for a bun helper .

The whirlastyle or something similiar i purchased at CLAIRE'S. A BIG waste of money! I have APL but imo, that's not made for our hair. Too much manipulation! You have to twist it around the hair and spread the hair around the circle to cover the plastic. ALOT of pulling! I can give mines to you if you'de like.
