I am getting ready to color my hair jet black. Is this color as harsh as a lighter one? I need to do it because my natural hair is a dull black color with some light color left on the ends. So I just want to color it one color. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
I'm not an expert on this like Tracy, but I will try to help. Jet Black wouldnt be as harsh as a lighter color, but any permanent color can be damaging, so you won't be able to escape ANY chance of damage. I'm not exactly sure how color works with natural hair though because I am relaxed, sorry.
The color wont matter, its the amount of lift that your hair is having to go up to. but since your going darker you can use a lower developer. or you can get the kind for relaxed hair without ammonia.
