I am new to the board, and I see a lot of people on the board who take vitamins for their hair. Do these vitamins really work? If so, which one(s) do you recommend?
I take a regular ol' multi-vitamin and recently added biotin. I think vitamins are beneficial to your health and an added plus is that they benefit hair, skin and nail health.
Hi Andreaetta! /images/graemlins/wave.gif
I take a multi, GNC Ultra Nourishair, biotin, and B5. I have noticed only a slight increase in my growth rate, but my hair is noticeably thicker since I started my vitamin regimen.
Mine are listed below in my signature. I would highly recommended a multi, biotin, and cod liver oil ( I take the capsules). The cod liver oil I take for overall health but it benefits the hair too. /images/graemlins/wave.gif

I take suppliments and i do think it works. I use Biotin and since i started using it, i noticed my hair becoming thicker and growing faster.
I tend to think Biotin is an important hair vitamin. I noticed a good amount of growth from just taking a multi and 2 Biotin pills about 3-4 times a week.
I take NatureMade Super B Complex. Not only is it helping my hair grow faster and thicker, but I'm reaping the benefits of stronger longer nails! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
