I suck at "Hair Typing" or classifications. When I read up on these I found I preferred the L.O.I.S. method; however it does not “stick with me”.
The pictures below were taken from a Mizani poster. I call this my K.I.S.S. method
I use these during SisterLock consultations; the pictures are especially functional when the client inquires about "how long" they could expect to wait for their hair to loc. ALSO added is the fact that most of "us" have at least 2 of these curl patterns throughout our head.
Recently I saw a post here where someone shared some more "elementary" pictures of a hair typing system. I meant to share these sooner, and I hope these are of use to someone.
