I would like to make my own too. What recipe are you using/going to use?

Hi there,

After looking at her site, I had planned on using what I have on hand at the moment/could purchase locally(onions, garlic, cayenne pepper-powder, ayurvedic tea, and grapeseed and sunflower oils). At the moment, I do not have the biotin or silicia she uses so I had planned to omit them. Although, I know my substitutions may not yield me the same results I would love to give it a try before purchasing a bottle.

OMG...i made my own and used it for a couple of days....i just couldn't take walking around smelling like fried chicken!

Glad to hear you made your own. I hear you on the fried chicken smell. Hopefully, this weekend I will be able to search online for fragrance oils to mask the smell.

:bump:
Does anyone have a current friend referral, voucher, or coupon code that I could use to place my first order? If so, please pm me.

Many thanks in advance,

I bought the 8 oz regular with the vanilla pound cake scent. My hubby came home and asked was I baking something. I told him no... He came back to me later checking the oven, the fridge, trying to find the cake or cupcakes I was baking, lol. He still doesn't know it's my hair. I do like the scent. Mainly using it on my edges and crown. Will see how it goes in a month when I take my cornrows out.

I purchased the regular with vanilla pound cake scent and cayenne tincture . I've been using it for 2-3 days I think. Anyway, I am in Senegalese twists and oiled my scalp and put a few drops of cayenne on my scalp and rubbed it in for a few minutes. I went to the gym a while later and during my cardio I suddenly felt a strong tingling on my scalp, not a burn but I could definitely feel it. I liked it, it is the first thing I've put on my scalp that I actually felt a strong tingling. Even sulfur 8 or Dr. Miracles just feels cold, not tingly.

Has anyone tried a fragrance (and liked it) other than vanilla pound cake? I have the vanilla pound cake regular but am almost out of it. I was thinking about raspberry peach cobbler, but all of the posts that I have seen on LHCF about it are not good so I am going to stay away from that one. Has anyone tried Hawaiian Ginger or Dewberry (or any other fruity fragrance)?
