Hair to the front or back? Styling Question!

Now that I have a lil length (BSL very close to MBL) I have a styling question.

My hair is cut in long layers. I love that look and plan to just have longer layers as I advance to waist length. When my hair is down I absolutely love the look of pulling all of it to the front, I think I'll love that look even more when it covers the girls, BUT does it look silly if none of it is left to the back? The front layers arent long enough to sit up front on their own and give the same look, neither is my hair thick enough to look as good if I seperate it, some to the from and some to the back. I can leave some to the back but the less I leave back there, the better the style looks in front. I would show yall pics, but my camera's been broke for months now (which is y my pic is still of me just past SL) and my iphone pics arent turning out.

Anywho, does this make sense to anyone? Anyone else struggle/think/deal with this? Any suggestions/solutions?

Thanks!

Naw, I knew ppl would ask, thats why I mentioned in the initial post that my camera's broke. I havent had luck with the iphone for hair pics. I may try harder and see what I come up with, but in general... do u all think it looks "stupid" for lack of better term, lol... to have all the hair to the front? For instance... if u were walking behind me, would u notice it and think, ummmm okay, thats weird

LOL I know what you mean OP. When I wear my hair straight and down, I often wonder the same thing. I'm not really sure what the solution is. I love how it looks pulled forward over my shoulders but I still end up wearing it all back because it gets caught on my lipgloss or I am constantly moving it from my face. Long hair can be kind of annoying. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Can't speak from actual experience but I've seen some over both shoulders and then some hanging down the back.... looks ok to me

I had this conundrum, so I just wear one half pulled to the front, and the other side behind my ear and falling down the back.

When it's down, I usually take some of the front and have it going towards the front (just in front of my ear) and the rest I let hang down the back. The part in the front is cut in long layers, but the back isn't.

I usually keep it bunned because long hair can get in the way.
