Your hair looks really thick to me, throughout the entire hair. You know sometimes we can be our own worst critic. You have a beautiful head of hair, girl
mine looks alot like that and always has. even as a little girl my pigtails were fat nd puffy up top and real thin and skinny at the bottom, like and ice cream cone.
i dont know what it is.
Mine looks the same way. However I really need a trim. I was trying to hold off, but I have a lot of tiny knots on the ends and, like yours, my twist are thick at the root but thin at the ends.
I attribute it to different lengths within the twist. The majority of the hairs in the twist are shorter than the others. Therefore when you get to the end of your twist, you are only working with the longer hairs. That to me says you need to trim up the ends to the shortest part. If that is too drastic (it would be for me and thus my holding out on doing my trim) then you may have to live with it.
