Hair style suggestions for Type 1 hair

Does anyone have any suggestions for hairstyles for Type 1 hair? My hair is slightly past the shoulders and very straight. It does not have a lot of body except for the day and day after it is washed. I don't think it is long enough to just wear straight but it will not hold a curl even with setting lotion on the end. It is also flat to my head and does not have much volume. I am trying to grow another 3 or 4 inches so I can just let it hang straight but not there yet. <font color="red"> </font>

Yep! You can do a cool twist out style! You can take sections of your hair and twist it, then secure it with a hairpin. Go to sleep, then when you wake up take it out and Voila! There you have a nice medium length wavy style!! Use mousse when you're doing your twisting. This way you'll have some hold! Good Luck!
