Hair Steamer Stand - Can I Use it to Steam my Face?

I asked this question of the makeup and skin board but I might get more responses here .

Can you use a hair steamer (the stand type like salons r us) to also seam your face?

Has anyone tried this? What products do you use it with? I was thinking of puting something on my face and then steaming it in with distilled water.

What I started doing my 3rd treatment was placing a large bath towel across my steamer hood (basically it was because I didn't want any steam escaping through the side).

I pull the towel down over the front of the steamer hood just a bit so it hangs down, and this traps the steam so much where my face gets a steam treatment as well.

I haven't tried this with product on my face, but when my hair is done (30/45 mins) my face actually feels cleaner.

Pretty much as if I sat in the sauna at the gym.
