I've been missing in action regarding my hair progress pics. I rarely do one of these because of the massive tangling, but last night I decided to wear a high ponytail afro puff. I was shocked to see the difference in my hair, especially from 2 years ago. The rest of the pics are in my fotki :)

PUFF IN AUGUST 2009:

I've also posted almost 2 years worth of updates in my fotki. Hope you enjoy :drunk:

How did you do it? Is it a dried, picked puff or did you start out with curly Q's and that was the end result? How long did you wear it out?

^^^ what she said, how did you do that???

I airdried it in a stretched pigtails, twisted, which caused it to fluff up. I added a good heap of EVCO and alma oil and detangled with my fingers and then my denman brush. I was going to braid all of it, but it was so humid that my hair just kept curling on itself and wouldn't catch as I was braiding. So, I just brushed it into a high ponytail and scrunched. This weather is perfect because, It causes my hair to shrink more than it naturally would on its own, but it stays moisturized as well. Unfortunately, I put it in a bun last night, so when I woke up this morning, it was also stretched out and floppy . Good news is that I saw very little breakage as I was doing my dry hair. I might just have to wrap the looser hair around the base.
