I would like to know if anyone knows about any good products besides Profectiv and ORS that helps fight the effects of hard water. I currently live in Germany and the water is extremely hard on my hair. We don't have a lot to choose from at PX. Please does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you,

I'd say Elasta QP products, which are relatively cheap and yet effective. I like the H-two just to spray on my hair to give it some moisture. I like it a lot.

Unfortunately we don't have EQ products over here. Can I get it online at Sheldeez.com?

Thanks for the info.

Jellynote, do you have Ion products over there. They have a shampoo that is specifically formulated to combat hard water. And I also agree that you have to use distilled water as a final rinse to get that bad water out of the hair.

I lived in Germany for almost four years and that water wreaked havoc on my hair. It got so bad that I had to start using bottled water to wash my hair and I washed less often than usual. I ended up cutting all my hair off a few months before I left cause the water dried it out so much.

I had to cut my hair 2 months ago because of the water over here and now I have micro braids. No they don't have ION products over here. I will try the distilled water once I take my braids out. What products can I get online that are good. Sheldeez.com, texasbeautysupply.com, allurebeautysupply.com and havanabeautysupply.com plus some other supply stores ship to APO's and FPO's. Can anyone give me a list of good products that I can use. I have 2 daughters ages 7 and 9, but the funny thing is their hair is fine. I also keep their hair braided too so maybe that's what I need to do. Thank you all for these responses.
