As some of you may remember, I got my hair cut into an SL angled bob from APL in late November:) (pictured in my avatar) I have been loving it, and it's really cute when I wear it down... HOWEVER... I have noticed a little extra shedding/ breakage lately, either because of on and off winter weather, or my new found love of the flat-iron:look: I am also 8 weeks post with about 1.5" of new growth, so who knows the culprit...

I decided to try my true and proven recipe for breakage/dryness that works for me, instead of giving myself a relaxer today... I will be headed to the salon with my hair already shampooed and DC'ed for a super blunt SL cut to remove the splits and dry ends... Good news is... I have grown out all of my layers!!!

here is my anti-breakage/shedding recipe:grin:

2 eggs/ whole
1/4 cup of garlic olive oil

whip together ingredients and apply to hair root to tip. place plastic cap on hair and let sit for 1-2 hours...

that's it! stregnth plus supple shine and softness :cloud9: the garlic stops my shedding, also...even though its not the cutest smell while on your head...I usually use Redkin Smooth Down Poo/Con/ Butter Treat to combat the smell after my treatment...:)

I'll post pics of my hair cut later on today:)

Hi Soror!!!

BTW - Your hair looks magnificent!!! Just a couple of questions - did u buy the garlic/olive oil? Also you are shampooing with both the butter treat and CON and DC'ing? Sorry for all of the questions!!!!

Sorry so late with the response!

I pre-pooed with the garlic olive oil and eggs... I bought the oil already infused with garlic.

T shampooed this mixture with smooth down shampoo...

I conditioned with smooth down condish...

I rinsed and used butter treat as a leave in...

hth!!!
