This is my problem with Razac Leave-in conditioner. I don't know if I should stop using it & go searching for something similar, or continue using it for the sake of having nice hair. Would you use a product if it made your hair look & feel good (and smell fresh), but irritated your scalp, making it itch & flake?

I love this it gives me better slip than Pantene detangling leave in, luckily my scalp has no problem with it. But if that was the case I would keep on looking for another product.

Are you using it straight out of the bottle? I had tons of white flakes in my hair when I did that. Now I mix it with tap water in a spray bottle. I use maybe 2 or 3 times as much water as I do leave-in. It works like a charm. But if that didn't work, I would stop using it. Scalp irritation would win out over appearance.

Yes, I'm using it straight out of the bottle. I pour some into my palm, and apply it to my hair in sections. Does it really work just as good diluted? I'll try that next time.

It works great diluted - without all the flaking. I had almost thrown it away before I decided to give it one more chance. It's a staple now.

Does your scalp actually FEEL irritated Ipanema...if not, it may just be that the product needs to be diluted some. If it truly irritates your scalp and it's the scalp that's flaking and not the product, I'd switch.

Scalp irritation over a long period of time can't be good...

Tracy, it's my scalp that's flaking, and it itches, too, so it's definately irritated. I might have to dump my beloved Razac leave-in conditioner.

I hope I can find something else just as good.

That's the thing--I avoid applying it on the scalp, but it seems to get on there, anyway. Just like some always seems to get on my face, too, and I have to rub my skin with alcohol.

This was the problem I had with H-Two leave in ...I gave it up, because i would end up doing too much damage by scratching in my head, yanking out hair.
