My dermatologist prescribed this (liquid drops) to me after he diagnosed me as having "Perm Burn", or basically overprocessing which resulted in breakage. He said the med would stimulate the scalp and make my hair grow.

I was wondering if he was just trying to play some psychological trick on me.

Has anyone had any experience with this drug?

my friend saw my dermatologist for thinning hair at the temples. it had been thin for at least 5 years i think. he gave her some samples of Cormax, which is also fluocinonide. this is a topical steroid, which he also gave me for my psoriasis. he's pretty aggressive when it comes to treatments.

anyway, it worked for her. so i'd suggest you give it a try, and the dermatologist sounds like a keeper because most will tell you there's nothing they can do. they won't even try...

Thanks for the reply. I have been using it for about a month now but haven't seen a difference yet.

Not the liquid form, but the ointment/vaseline-type form. My dermatologist prescribed it to me when she diagnosed me with seborrhoea dermatitis. She also presribed Nizoral. I didn't notice any additional growth.

Anyone currently using this? The derm just prescribed this to me to see if hair will regrow in some spots.
