Out with the Old & In with the New

Hello ladies....with all the new hair accessories and tricks you learn everyday, it's hard to keep track of all these things. I'm still stuck in the bobby pin era but many of you say the bobby spin pin is a "hella betta".

Ladies what items and techniques have worked for you that made your hair say thank you?

Gadgets

  • Spin Pins :yep: ..replaces.. bobby pins
  • Flexi 8 Clips :yep: ..replaces.. hair clamps
  • Scunci No-Slip Grip :yep: ..replaces.. rubber bands
  • Satin scuncies :yep: ..replaces.. nylon scuncies
  • Banana Clip :yep: ..replaces.. hair claws, scuncies

*will update the list from posts

I'm curious as to what you all use too. I know my hair said NO thank you to banana clips (my hair broke every one of them).

  • Scunci No-Slip Grip The Evolution Hair Ties - Gentle on the hair, doesn't tear it out.
  • Satin covered scrunchies (any brand) - Great for gym or night time pineapples.

Those No-Slip Grip hair ties are the BUSINESS!! I have so many and now they're all over the place; kitchen, family room, car, purses, tables...everywhere!

I know sassy swag (the lady who makes sassy swag wraps - YT her) she has satin scuncies.... other than that greenandchic where do you get your satin scuncies...I usually poke a hole thru sandwhich bags and wrap them around my nylon scunci's....time for a change.

Ha ha, same here! YouTube's mahoganyknots mentioned them one in one of her videos and I purchased them the next day. I would have never noticed them at the store otherwise.

At a local BSS. They are loose in a big box - unbranded.

My hair was not having those jelly ponytail holders. It was hair in it each time I took it out.

has anyone found an alternative to hair combs? the little ones ppl use in their roll-tuck-pin styles, I think my hair is getting too thick but I love those things and I'm always in a pin-up style

Last week someone mentioned franceluxe.com for hair accessories. I made a note so WHEN :yep: (not if) I reach my hair goal next year I would treat myself.

But I am quite sure I won't be treating myself to this. But if any of you LHCF PJ buy it - you will be my new BFF:grin:

Lilmama1011  IKR. That is Beyonce, Rhianna, Oprah power shopping.

I know swarovski is expensive don't think I saw $1000 in swarovski stones on that piece. I stoned a playboy bunny on a shirt a couple of years back using swarovski and the stones were $100 retail.
