I'm asking for my sister. Can anyone recommend a good human hair to buy for weaving relaxed hair. This will not be for braids if that makes a difference. Thanks.
Janet Hot Stuff Fusion is very good. It's synthetic,BUT you can hot curl it just like human hair. I don't know if you've seen carrie's hair, she's a member here, she uses Janet Hot Stuff Fusion and it looks very nice. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I agree with D_Shy on the remy options! I also tried the Bohym gold velvet - tried to go straight for a moment. The hair was nice but I only kept it in for a week.... Once you wear remy you just get spoiled!
stellaw- What was the texture of the Gold velvet like. I like the Sahaian Smooth by Bohyme for straight hair but I am always keeping an eye out for other options. I like remi but I have blending issues.

girl aint that the truth!! I couldnt even really go back to bohyme after wearing remi hair....but i do like bohyme dont get me wrong....i love the egyptian wave....
I agree pure Indian remy hair is the best but since my natural hair is 4a/b relaxed I have to put a track or two up top that is slightly more coarse to match.
CBGIRL: You know, I don't really feel like I can give a real opinion about the Gold Velvet. I only kept it in for a week and one wash. Girl, I had to "style" it and that was enough for me! I'm a washngo kind a girl LOL.
D_Dhy: I'm good sissy. Settling into the 'new digs' here and I like it! I spent so much time on here yesterday my husband started complaining! There is SO much good information on this board! A member from another thread has me considering trying to make my own pomade! I'll let you know if I pluck up the nerve. How are you...?

Blaxalrose, the texture of the Indian remy hair is like Black Diamond's natural perm or Bohyme's velvet yaki except the remy hair has more body to it so its not sleek straight and looks more natural but the top 2 tracks should be of something slightly more coarse to blend in with your relaxed hair.
I wouldn't recommend the brazilian wave because when I wore just Bohyme Saharian smooth the hair would become really bushy after washing it unless I flat ironed or hot curled it and the brazilian wave would definitely be more "bushy" and wild looking. From what I've heard, the curl definition of the brazilian is not as nice as in the shown pics. My mom wears the egyptian wave and has switched to using one pack for her whole head because of the fullness when letting the hair just air dry but now she wants to try remy curly hair for a new look so we'll see how that goes.
Yea i agree with Tib...my hair is textruized for the most part...and I use the curly remi because it blends the best...i cant stand yaki hair personally...
but u can always get the remi hair...and curly perm it on perm rods thats what i did with the 26 inch straigth hair i had to make it a kinkier curl more like a 3c texture...it was really beautiful...
The egyptian wave was my favorite bohyme texture...i like the fullness but like Tib said if you put two bags in you would be like WHOA!! lol but after a few washes you will be ok...
the egyptian wave is pretty when bow dried straight and when left to air dry..
